"The Messianic Kingdom"

Lesson One
Part One
[There will be several Lessons on the Messianic Kingdom.We will begin with 'War Over
God's Word.' The blue-print is found in Matthew's parables taught by the Lord Jesus
Himself ... "The Mysteries of The Kingdom of Heaven" ... remember not to it]!
Only 'portions' of this Lesson has been taken from or inspired by brother Morris Cerullo's
teachings.

Y Our Last Battle Will be Over,
"Hath God said?"
Who is a hypocrite?
"This people honors Me with lip                    service, while their hearts are far from Me;
Their reverence of Me is worthless:
the lessons they teach are nothing but human commandments."
Is 29:10; seq., Mt 15:9-20.
Y Jesus gave His disciples a promise. He SENT them to the Upper-room. When you get
there I want you to wait there. You have heard what John the Baptist talked about. He said
he would baptize you in water, but I would baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire. So wait
there until that happens. The Spirit will come upon you and you shall receive power to be
'MY WITNESSES,' 'MY EVIDENCE'...Here, There, and Everywhere to the uttermost
parts of the earth, Jesus said, "don't you leave the city until you have had a good time, and
a good hallelujah march." No, He said, "don't you leave Jerusalem until you have been
endued with POWER from on high!"
Y I don't think one can find in the word of God, not one place, where God used anybody
without first giving them an EXPERIENCE. Do you believe Moses could have gone into
Pharaoh's court without first standing at the burning bush? Do you believe Daniel could
have walked in the lion's den if he did not know God? Do you think the three Hebrew
Children could just have said, open the fire door and throw us in? No, they knew
something...they knew Someone.
Everything Jesus said and did He did with the knowledge of KNOWING, How did He
know? The Holy Spirit told Him! The Spirit caused Him to see and to hear and was there to
perform His words. Jesus said, "just as the Father SENT Me so am I SENDING you."
Jesus heard the Spirit speaking to Him!
John 20:21
Y Faith ...is simply a loyalty to God, and loyalty means: to bind yourself to someone who
cannot fail you. Faith is seeing the invisible as fact ... in the face of all that contradicts it!
Faith comes by hearing, with that inner ear, what the the Spirit is saying to you, directing
you in present situations; answering questions you may have asked Him. The Bible is not
all that God has ever said! O, do we ever need to learn this! Faith also comes from hearing
by the written word of God. As you hear the word, faith enters with that word at the same
time, they come together! And Satan's demon(s) is right there to remove it out of your
spirit, where it has lodged, by bringing every circumstance about to get you to let go of that
word you have heard! Understanding the Mystery Parables of the Kingdom is very
important!
Y Do you know why we can't be loyal to the Lord Jesus? It is because we don't really
KNOW Him. If we know God in an experience, I'm not talking about a surface

Christian experience that so many of us have had, but, an in depth experience that you can
bind yourself to Him in loyalty. One that you can walk in a lion's den and a fiery
furnace...one where the Shekina Glory will radiate from your face! One that you would
"not love your life even unto death." We absolutely must break forth into another
dimension of POWER, INTO THE REALM OF THE SHEKINA GLORY. To live in this
place will cost you dearly! There is a price to be paid!
Y ITCHING EARS
Do you want someone to teach you exactly what you want to hear? If you do then your
heart is far from the Lord and this church is not where you ought to be. What is wrong with
the Body of Christ today? Most of it has gathered itself, with itching ears, around leaders
... who will tell you with flattering words what you want to hear! God is very clear about
this, He says, "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn
away." 2 Timothy 3:5.
Y Please do not make the mistake of thinking just because you are obeying God and
keeping His commandments, everyone is going to love you, you are not going to be popular
with everybody. You will be mistreated, removed from fellowships, called all kinds of
names, and may have to stand alone. However, the love of Christ will constrain you! Paul
had to stand alone many times. And we know our Lord Jesus did. If they called Jesus the
devil or that He was possessed by demons...they will say that about you as well. Make
sure it is not true!
The manner in which you conduct yourself in your home is the true measure in which the
Lord can anoint you openly. You cannot let yourself be hindered by negatives of your
conduct in your home ... it will be brought to light. This is the place where you really know
the Lord and experience Him!
Y If we are to KNOW God, be strong, do exploits, we must be teachers of invincible
HOLINESS; and turn many to righteousness according to Daniel ... then one day we will
shine like the stars with our Father's Glory. You had better get ready to stand alone if
necessary. If you cannot take the heat of this battle, don't get in the fight. It is not easy!!!
You will be criticized, and every lie in the world will be told about you. Why? Because, it is
the devil's business to defeat you!
Y When you let God, by the Spirit, work His works through you, that being good works,
you are on the front line of battle against demons, every kind of evil, sickness, need,
poverty, elemental forces, and fearful bondage. The front line is where the battle rages the
very hottest. When you begin to come against the kingdom of Satan, like Jesus did, don't
take it lightly! All hell will break loose! This is why we must have the Kingdom's keys and
put on the whole armor of God making us able to stand 'against' the enemy's counsel of
false doctrine! This is the reason we must be equipped first.
Y By Jesus' power over demons and all of Satan's Empire, He 'inaugurated' His Messianic
Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit, His 'right arm,' His 'hand!' If the Spirit of God is
not manifested, then the Kingdom of God is not come to overtake Satan. The Spirit is
God's EVIDENCE. Jesus manifested the Kingdom or God's right hand!. One might say,
'Your Spirit come, so that Your will may be done (wherever you, the saint, find yourself), in
me, on the earth, as it is in Heaven.' Demonic possession is often accompanied by illness,
further evidence of Satan's power, rage, and uncontrolable anger. That is why the
exorcisms Jesus did appear frequently to be

also cures. This is why the gifts, the keys of the Spirit are a must! Even if Israel did not
recognize Jesus ... the demons did! And they will also recognize His Spirit of Glory in you,
shinning forth from you, the demons have no doubt about it! This is why you are
persistently harassed by demonic spirits.          Jesus said, "If I by the (finger, hand) Spirit
of God cast out devils then know (this proves), that the Kingdom of God has overtaken you.
Mt 12:22-32.
Y Working God's works is evidence of Christ's authority. It was His credentials that He
was the Messiah, the Son of God, and that He was SENT by His Father, it was His
proof...and it should be ours too. This is why we must study the "Authority of The
Believer" and find our place in the Body of Christ because we have been created to do
good works and given grace and gifts. If we bury them or hide them and do not produce
fruit or make our Lord a profit!... there will consequences according to His parables. This
requires 'holy' living, we need pruning, Saints.
Mt 25:14-30.
Y The Lord Jesus is very, very, serious about our way of life and the commandments He
left for us to do. Our problem is we treat His words as, "commandments that are ONLY
human, given by men, and not by our SUPERNATURAL LORD. Many voices are raised
today against the ministry of the supernatural victories.They tell us, that Jesus Christ
never did miracles to prove Who He was. However, eighty percent of His ministry was
giving EVIDENCE that the Kingdom of God had come and was present 'manifesting' His
Glory and destroying the kingdom of darkness' works!

Y The other day, while brushing my teeth, the Spirit said to me, "Satan tried to destroy the
EVIDENCE, meaning Jesus, because He was the EVIDENCE that there is a God, a
Creator! And He will try to destroy you too ...because you (and others) are My
EVIDENCE, WITNESSES that I Am Who I claim to be!" Saints, what a revelation!
YY "IN ALL TRUTH I TELL YOU, 'WHOEVER' BELIEVES IN ME
         WILL PERFORM THE SAME WORKS AS I DO MYSELF,
         AND WILL DO EVEN GREATER WORKS THAN THESE,
         BECAUSE I GO TO MY FATHER.
         WHATSOEVER YOU ASK FOR IN MY NAME I WILL DO,
         SO THAT THE 'FATHER' MAY BE GLORIFIED (MANIFESTED,
         SEEN) IN THE SON [we are the Body of the                 Son. He is to be seen or
manifested in us].
         IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME (ACCORDING TO MY NATURE)
         I WILL DO IT.
         IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.
         I WILL ASK THE FATHER AND HE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER ME
         (PARACLETE) ... TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER. THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH
        (REALITY) WHOM THE WORLD CAN NEVER ACCEPT SINCE IT NEITHER
'SEES' NOR KNOWS HIM; BUT YOU KNOW HIM, [WHY?], BECAUSE HE IS WITH
YOU, HE SHALL BE IN YOU. I SHALL NOT LEAVE YOU ORPHANS; I SHALL
COME TO YOU. IN A SHORT TIME THE WORLD WILL NO LONGER SEE ME;
BUT YOU SHALL SEE THAT I LIVE . . . KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, AND I
WILL
        REVEAL MYSELF TO YOU"

Y War Over the Word
Our Last Battle
DO YOU WANT TO BE USED OF GOD?
This is the question you and I must ask ourselves. As we are walking on the road that
leads to Eternal Life, there are many altars...just ask Abraham, for we are his seed in
Christ. We will come to one altar after another and at each one there will be 'tremendous
testing.' We will have to kneel and yield, make reconsecrations and rededications. We
absolutely must have a personal experience with the Lord Jesus and that not only once in
our life time, that is, not only the first real encounter. It must be one in which Jesus reveals
Himself to each one personally! So that you know that you know, that you know. If you are
not hungering and thristing after God's Word...'you have had only a surface experience.'
No rivers of living waters will flow out of your belly!
Y If you are hungry for the keys, the gifts of the Kingdom of God, you and I must be willing
to bow at every altar. Before anyone or any thing in our life...Jesus must be first. Satan will
be there to try you...while God is watching to see if you pass the test. (Study the life of
Abraham). Every weight and sin He reveals to us must be taken out of the way. If you feed
the New Man you can starve the Old Man to death...he passes away and all things become
NEW. We are not speaking of starving the body, as being the old man, but the old nature
of it; "for sin shall not have dominion over you!"
Y WHO IS A MINISTER?
What is the true meaning of the word 'minister?" Jesus emphasized the importance
humility plays in the life of one who desires to minister. In other words, before we can
become a true minister, I must be willing to pour myself out, by giving my time, my talent,
my money, everything that I have, as His Holy Spirit directs me to, just as Jesus poured
out Himself as a sacrifice for the world. Everyday I am to present my body as a 'living
sacrifice' unto God. No wonder the Lord says to us...don't grow weary in well doing!
Mt 20:26,28; Ro 12.
Y All of us, yes all, everyone who names the Name of Jesus as LORD can be a minister in
the true meaning of the word and 'WORK THE GOOD WORKS OF GOD.' The word
'servant' and 'minister' are used interchangeably. The Lord wants to use you in your own
sphere of activity...only you can fill that position. God does not want us to remove
ourselves from the world...only to remove ourselves from it's behavior, it's evil works. We
are suppose to be the Light of the world...and WORK GOD'S WORK....let it shine, let it
shine, let it shine! That the Father may be glorified!
Y We, as ministers, have a two-fold responsibility.
1) Our ministry to the Body of Christ              (all of it, not just your place of
worship). And
2) Our ministry to the lost.

We may have different callings in the Body, however, we are all called to be HOLY. We
are all called to be His witnessess. We are all called to be led by and obey the Holy Spirit.
There is no other way! We aspire to have a ministry but our words and life speaks
differently. Woe is me!

Y WILDERNESS TESTINGS
THE PROVOCATION
JESUS IS LED INTO THE WILDERNESS TO BE PUT TO THE TEST...40 DAYS. A
DAY FOR A YEAR.
Dt 8:2-4; Nb 14:34.

Y There He undergoes 3 similar temptations: seeking norishment apart from God, Dt 8:3;
Ex 16; testing God for the sake of self indulgence, Dt 6:16; Ex 17:1-7; denying God to
follow false gods who serve the governments, powers of this world, Dt 6:13; 6:10-15; Ex
23:23-33. As did Moses fast, Jesus fasts 40 days and nights. Jesus is the New Moses, as
did Moses, Jesus sees all the earth from a high mountain. God helps Him by His angels, as
He promised the righteous, Ps 91:11-12; Gen 28; Angels ascending and descending upon
the Son of Man who is the House, the Temple of God, Jn 1:51. Ministering angels who
protected the Old Israel now protects the New Israel. Dt 8:15; Heb 1:14; Mt 4:6; Lk
10:19. A new Moses is now leading a New Israel in a New Exodus. Heb 3:1-4:11 He is the
New Messiah, as the devil hints, 'If you are the Son of God.' Jesus the Christ opens a new
way of salvation, not of self-reliance and ease but of obedience to God and self denial. He
had to give up the thought of a glorious, political role as Messiah in favour of a spiritual
role in total obdedince to God. see Heb 12:2.

Y Jesus says, no more hypocricy please, no more worthless reverence and worship to My
Father, no more lip service...if anyone defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy.
"Listen and understand. What goes into the mouth does not defile, make a man unclean ; it
is what comes out of the mouth that makes a man unclean. Because whatever comes out of
the mouth comes out of the heart, and it is this that defiles and makes a man unclean...for
from the heart come evil intentions: murder, adultery, fornication, theft, perjury, slander,
greed...and these are the things that make a person unclean." Would you say this is a
"behavioural" problem? A spiritual work of the flesh behavior? What we need is a NEW
SPIRIT!

Y BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY
Many thousands of believers have no understanding regarding the authority of the
believer. Their experience is one of constantly being on the defensive. They are overcome
every day by circumstances that surround them (us), especially in the home. I want to keep
this personal. We become easy prey, and our Christian experience is one of defeat, up
today and down tomorrow, tossed about by every wind of doctrine, run here, run there,
hoping for the day when Jesus will come to take us away from it all without a fight! Don't
get me wrong, I want to see my Lord Jesus face to face...and not just in you! Please spare
me!

Y You see, this is not the Christian experience that the Bible describes to us. It is true that
this Christian life will have its conflicts, its trials, and temptations, yes, and even its
sufferings, but in it all we still can have, and do have the authority as a child of God over
our flesh. And knowledge of this scriptural fact will lift us from the life of defeat into a life
of authority and service to Jesus.

Y The Authority of God
Everything in existence seen and unseen, was created by God, as stated in Col 1:16-17;
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and

invisible, whether they be thrones (visible or invisible), dominions, (visible or invisible)
principalities (visible or invisible), powers (visible or invisible), all things were created by
Him, and for Him (visible or invisible). And He is before all things, and by Him, all things
consist (visible or invisible). You see behind everything visible is the invisible, for
example, the throne or seat of the kings authority or rulership...there sitting upon the
invisible throne is an unseen ruler! No wonder Satan said to Jesus when he showed Him
all the kingdoms of the world and the 'glory' of them, "I will give them all to you...for they
have been given unto me, if you will fall down and worship me." Read Eph 6 again! These
unseen powers, Prince of Persia, Prince of Greece, Prince of Iraq, PRINCE OF WHO
AND WHATEVER NATION, rulers of the darkness of this world, wicked spirits, where?
in the unseen heavenly places, motivating and controlling people, stirring up everything
around us! But the saints are defeated along with the world for the lack of knowledge and
dedication to Jesus because we love the praise of MEN more than the Praise of God! It is
by Us, the Church, that they learn of God's Mystery...and they try to take us out!
Y What is manifested in the natural ...behind it is the invisible force. We must understand
and see these things by the Spirit. God too, has His Powers seen and unseen. Praise His
Holy Name! Jesus did not leave us here orphaned.This would mean, that there is no power
in existence that is independant of God. God then is the supreme power in this
universe.There is no power apart from God. We are not told to preach, "repent for the
CHURCH is at hand." No, the Church is to go into all the world and preach, "repent the
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (God's rule) is at hand. And as you go...heal the sick, cast out
devils, raise the dead...because all authority has been given unto Me both in heaven and in
earth...go therefore, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you,
and lo, I am with you always, EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE."
Y The idea of Jesus here, is that if we are led in the will and purpose of God, and we teach
TRUTH (Reality); the authority, which is God, in heaven and earth, or the One who has all
authority in all these realms, will be with us exercising that authority, that will complete
His purposes in the earth.
The word of God, through the mouth of authoritative sons, will do as Scripture relates. It is
the Word of God rightly taught, that will prevail and change lives, and accomplish God's
purposes in them. A knowledge of the Word is the greatest source of our authority as is
pointed out in
2 Timothy 3:16-17. And then Isaiah 55:11, "The authority of My word, so shall My word
be that goeth out of My mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that
which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I SENT it." We are able to see this
fulfillment in Iraq , the Arab nations, and Israel right now. The Lord is shaking the
nations...America get ready! So we need to prophesy, saints, His Word and not our own.
"This is my solemn attestation to all who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds
anything to them, God will add to him every plague mentioned in the book; if anyone cuts
anything out of the prophecies of this book, God will cut off his share of the tree of life and
of the holy city, which are described in the book." This very ancient formula, is a way of
protecting sacred writings against falsification. God is very, very serious about His Word.
                 Rev 22:18; Dt 4:2; 13:1; Pr 30:6.

Part Three

Y HATH GOD SAID?
War over the Word
Faith!
If we as Christians would please God, we must have faith. If we would bring Heaven's
Treasure within our reach, we must have faith, "without faith it is impossible to please
HIM: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them
that 'diligently' seek Him."
Hebrews 11:6.
Y Therefore, let's talk a little bit about FAITH before we continue on, Faith is the
substance and the evidence of things not seen...in the invisible world. Faith then is the
PROOF that certain things exist, or that by which invisible things are proved and we are
convinced of their reality. This is the reason why the WORD OF GOD makes the
statement that it is possible, "for the just to live by faith."
HE 16:38
Y Therefore, faith is the inner man seeing and understanding the things of God, and acting
upon them. So man sees in two senses. By faith the inner man sees the invisible things of
God, and with his senses the outer man sees the material things of the universe. When we
learn to disregard what the senses reveal to us, and we accept and act upon what is
revealed to us by the Holy Spirit and His Word through faith, then we are believing
according to Scripture, which the senses are able to see and understand prophecies as the
word is fulfilled. Through faith man is able to know the invisible things of God, as revealed
in His Word and the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, whom we have recieved by the
BLOOD of the NEW COVENANT.

Y Satan will WAR YOU OVER THE WORD..."HATH GOD SAID?" Let me say it again,
Satan will war you over God's Word, "Hath God said, 'You shall not eat of every tree?' "
Because the Word and Faith are inseperable!!! We must fight for our Faith in what God
has said...we must guard it and keep it in our spirits! This is why God holds His Word
above His Name. We absolutely cannot change it to say what we want it to say. Always
read the entire word in it's 'context.' In order for the word not to be changed...He had it
written down for us and gave us the Holy Spirit to bear witness and give EVIDENCE to
what the SPIRIT IS SAYING TO THE CHURCHES wherever they are come together,
even one or two, in His Name. Our FAITH and the WORD are more precious than Gold;
Gold tried in the fire is what is worth something. Actually when one is tried, because of the
word, it is 'your faith & the word' which is being refined.This takes a faith which is not
natural...it is the gift of God, one recieves God's faith when one is regenerated by the Spirit
on accepting Jesus, not all men have it.
2Thess 3:2.
Y The Word of God on which the believer feeds is also called the Word of Faith.
Ro 10:8, "...that is, the word of faith, which we preach." Because we have the Spirit of
Faith, and the Word of Faith, faith is the very life principle of the Christian. For the just
shall live by faith, or the just shall live by seeing things that are invisible. Ro 1:17; Ga
3:11; He 10:38. Saints, I trust you are looking up these scriptures.

Y THE AGE OF FAITH
WE IN THE DAY OF GRACE ARE NOW LIVING IN THE AGE OF FAITH. THE
COMING OF CHRIST MARKED THE BIRTH OF A NEW ERA, A NEW ORDER OF
PRIESTHOOD. "THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM" HAS ALREADY BEEN
INAUGURATED WITH THE COMING OF THE CHRIST, MESSIAH!
Y Listen carefully now, the Sovereignty of God over the chosen people, and through them
over the world, is at the heart of Jesus' preaching. It implies a "kingdom of saints, a
kingdom of priests, a royal preisthood," where God will be truly King because they
acknowledge His Royal rights by knowing and loving Him. This Sovereignty, can be
jeopardised by rebellious sin, and was, so by the act of God and of His Messiah,
Dan 2:28, following John the Baptist's declaration that the Kingdom of God was at hand;
Jesus, being baptised in the Holy Spirit, takes up the Message with a form not, as was
commonly expected, that is, of a successful nationalist rising, but of a purely spiritual
movement. It's the spirit of man that must be given a new birth in order for man to be
changed and become new. Jesus could have started an up-rising, like we have today, but
what would that have proven? He needs and wants and DEMANDS a whole NEW RACE
OF PEOPLE! The redemptive work of Jesus as 'Son of Man' and as 'Servant,'
Is 53-54, which indicates humility, sets human beings free from Satan's rule which opposes
God's.
Y Before the Messianic Kingdom achieves its final realisation, it, the kingdom, makes an
unimpressive entrance. It's beginning is mysterious and raises opposition...it has come
unnoticed! [and that is the exact way it will come to you as well...think about what I just
said, without observation]! The development of the 'Messianic Kingdom' on earth is slow,
and has not LOST IT'S WAY. It is progressively moving forward to it's final destination,
which would be, the final Fall Feast of Tabernacles. You see, this revelation of the Old
Testament prophecies was SEALED, it was not understandable to the saints, until the Lord
Jesus sent His angel to John to show him in vision the facts of the Eschotology of His
Second Coming and Judgement. JOHN SAW A LAMB WITH SEVEN HORNS, WHICH
SPEAKS OF HAVING COMPLETE AUTHORITY AND FINAL RULE, WHO WAS
THE ONLY ONE WORTHY TO TAKE THE SCROLL AND OPEN IT'S SEALS. THIS
SCROLL WITH THE SEVEN SEALS WAS IN THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD WHO
WAS SEATED ON HIS THRONE. THE LAMB TOOK THE SCROLL FROM GOD'S
HAND AND BROKE OPEN THIS SEALED BOOK TO GIVE US REVELATION OF
THE LAST OF THE LAST DAYS.
Y When the Lord Jesus looked upon the HARVEST of SOULS, who were oppressed and
dejected, sheep without a sheperd, He was moved with compassion and pity! They were
under the control of Satan's kingdom. They were held in bondage and had no way to be set
free from that power....until a GREATER POWER, A STRONGER ONE, than Satan
came 'UNEXPECTEDLY' and dispossed his power! For this reason, Jesus said, "the
Harvest is great and ripe...but there are so few laborers! Pray that the Lord of the Harvest
will S E N D LABORERS into the fields. He is hiring!
Y Therefore, Jesus knowing that the ones
S E N T WOULD NEED TO BE EQUIPPED WITH A POWER GREATER AND
STRONGER THAN SATAN'S POWER OVER THEM, JESUS CALLED HIS TWLEVE
AND HIS SEVENTY TWO AND GAVE THEM POWER TO CAST OUT DEVILS,
HEAL THE SICK OF ALL THEIR SICKNESSES. ALL OF THE KINGDOM OF
DARKNESS WAS UNDER THEIR AUTHORITY. THIS IS THE MYSTERY THAT
WAS HELD IN SECRET UNTIL THE TIME CAME TO REVEAL IT; AND IT WAS
REVEALED TO THE 'SIMPLE,' THE 'HUMBLE,' UNEDUCATED CHILDREN OF
FAITH. THIS IS HOW SATAN'S KINGDOM FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM HAVING
AUTHORITY OVER THEM. SO THE DEVIL'S STRATEGEY WAS TO GET RID OF
JESUS WHO GAVE THEM THIS RULE OF GOD'S KINGDOM, SAINTS! JESUS
LAUGHED ABOUT IT! IT'S CALLED: "JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST!!!
Y "How blessed are the poor [humble] in spirit: the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs." The
Lord Jesus reveals the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven to His disciples in the

Parables and in all His teachings. He siad, "one had to have ears to hear." Jesus said as
He watched them labor in the Harvest fields, "I watched Satan fall like lightning from
heaven. Look, I have given you power to tread down serpents and scorpions and the whole
strength of the enemy;" and filled with the Joy of the Holy Spirit, He said, "I bless
you, Father, LORD of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the
clever and revealing them to 'little children.' Yes, Father, for that is what it has pleased you
to do." Open your Bible and slip away with Jesus as you meditate on all these Scriptures.
Lk 10:1-24; 9:6; Mt 9:35-10:31.
Y Ask yourself these questions and answer them:
1) What were the disciples rejoicing over?
2) What did the Father reveal to them that had been hidden in past ages?
3) What event was Israel longing and waiting to see happen?
Men in Old Testament times were enabled to know God through "types and shadows."
The coming of Christ changed from "types and shadows" to reality, because they were all
fulfilled in Him. The earthly priesthood, the temple, the animal sacrifices, the whole legal
economy were all fulfilled in Christ. "Christ is the end of the law of righteousness (to
who?), to everyone that believes."
Ro 10:4.
YAll that man needs for time and eternity is found in Jesus Christ, "for in Him dwells all
the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him."All of this supply, to be
found in Christ, is available to faith.
Col 2:9-10.
Y In the Body of Christ there are three kinds of faith.There is the faith that is measured to
every man, and the faith which every man measures to himself. Then there is the Gift of
Faith given by the Holy Spirit when an event calls for it. God is waiting for you and I to
move out into operation. God then will begin to measure faith. One cannot pray for this
measure of faith, It does not come that way. We must move out first upon what we know to
be the will of God. Then, and then only, will this kind of faith by the Spirit be given, and you
will minister or live according to the measure of faith we are believing for.
Y However, you cannot believe for something of which you have no knowledge. Believe in
what is revealed to you in the Word and by the Spirit.This faith "comes;"
and you can keep it coming! It will not come by sitting around wishing and hoping. It comes
by continuing in the Word and in the Spirit. If you want a drink of water you must get to the
supply or have someone bring it to you. You will not get a drink by lamenting your thirst
and wishing for something to be done. Whither in the realm of the material world or in the
Spirit.
Y Faith is measurable. It can be lost, overthrown, shipwrecked, 1 Tim 1:19; and
overcoming, 1 Jn 3:4; "Little faith," Lk 12:28; "weak in faith," Ro 4:19; "strong in faith,"
Ro 4:20; "growing faith." 2 Thess 1:3; "great faith," Mt 8:10; "rich faith," Ja 2:5; "full of
faith," Ac 6:5; "perfect faith," Ja 2:22. The extent of our faith will determine the measure
to which we can experience and enjoy God, His blessings, endurance and power of
authority.
Y According to Our Faith
Remember how the disciples rejoiced because they had been given power and authority to
go into the Harvest Fields preaching that the Kingdom of Heaven was here. And that the
evidence of it was casting out demons and healing all manner of deseases? One occasion
when Jesus descended from the Mount of Transfiguration, He beheld His disciples
surrounded by "a great multitude." One of the multitude approached Jesus, saying,
"Master, I have brought unto you my son, which has a dumb spirit, he is demented and in a
wretched state, held under the power of Satan, if you will . . . I asked your disciples that
they would cast him out, but they could

not." What was Jesus' reaction? "Faithless and perverse generation! How much longer
must I be with you? How much longer must I put up with you? Bring him here to Me."
Then the disciples came to Him privately. "Why were we unable to drive it out?" [They
did not war the demon over Jesus' Word . . . they had no faith in His word and the demon
knew it]! They did not enforce, "Hath God said!"
Y He answered, "Because you have so little faith. In truth (reality) I tell you, if your
FAITH is the size of a mustard seed you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to
there,' and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you." Saints, if we could ask a
mountain to be moved ... could we not move the Networks and other things? If we would
stop spiritualizing God's words where they are meant to be literal; I believe, our faith would
increase greatly, don't you think?
Mt 17:14-20.
Y The absence of faith was the thing which the Master deplored.You see on this occasion
the disciples had no faith in what Jesus had said and taught them.They lost it. Let me ask
you this. When Peter said to the crippled at the Temple Gate, "Silver and gold I have
none. But, what I do have I give to you," and taking him by the hand he commanded, "rise
up and walk!" What was it that Peter had? Authority! He had power and authority...and
FAITH in the NAME of JESUS! Read it for yourself...it was not any holiness that they had
aquired. Jesus paid it all. It was all in Him which they drew out of Him by the Holy Spirit,
which was the indwelling Source.
Y When the child was brought to Jesus, the evil spirit in the boy 'tore him.' Satan's most
vigorous demonstration is often witnessed 'just before the deliverance.' It is the same
authority and power over demons as it is over sickness or anything else in the kingdom
ruled by Satan...the very same Glory of God! We are to be wise as serpents and harmless
as doves. Can we walk like this? Yes, Jesus expects us to grow in faith and always
abound in the Word of His power. THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES TO FAITH!
Y "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes," Jesus said. Jesus with
these words removed all horizons and declared there were no boundaries to faith. This is
an inspiring statement and with this promise gripping our hearts we can dare to do small
things as well as exploits. The promise is not to those who do not believe, but to those who
do believe.
Mk 9:14-29.
Y All things to some is much greater than "All things" to others. The extent of your faith
will determine how far you will go in your definition of "all things." The highest type of
faith is faith in God's Word apart from any "helps." God has granted helps, so that such
faith as we have may be supported and encouraged to grow. In our next lesson, I think we
might study and learn about THE HIGHEST KIND OF FAITH.

Lesson One
Part Four

Y Hath God Said? War Over the Word, The Spirit's Sword!
"THE HIGHEST KIND OF FAITH"
In the matter of healing for our bodies, we may "call the elders of the Church," who will
anoint us with oil, and pray for our recovery. This has been a wonderful help to many. And
those who call for the elders are obeying God's Word. The only thing is...finding an elder,
now days, who can pray the prayer of faith and has the gift of discernment. However, faith
on a higher plane secures deliverance by direct personal faith in the promise of God's
Word. Are you aware that there are healing angels SENT by Jesus,"He SENT His Word
and healed them," the Word may be carried by Angels, who are spirit beings, or that Word
of healing may be carried by you or I as messengers.

Then...there is the Spirit within the believer as well. The Word is the Spirit, you know that
don't you? Knowing God's Word and being filled with the Spirit, the mature believer knows
how to successfully "wrestle with principalities and powers," and come off the field "more
than conqueror."

This high type of faith is illustrated in the healing of the centurion's servant. "But speak
the word only, and my servant will be healed."Mt 8:5-13. The Centurion had no doubt
observed several times the ministry of Jesus and had been told of his wonders prior to his
approaching the Lord. He probably studied the Lord's AUTHORITY! In his mind there
was no doubt as to Jesus' mastery over sickness and those in torment of evil spirits. When
therefore his servant fell "grievously tormented," there was only one thing to do, get to
Jesus.

Upon finding the Lord, the centurion besought Him, saying, "Lord my servant lieth at
home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented." And Jesus said to him, "I will come and
heal him." Now here is the CLASSIC reply that ought to be carefully studied and
meditated, because Jesus places it at the top of the list of FAITH responses during His
ministry. The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come
under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant will be healed."

Then the Centurion proceeded to tell our Lord why he spoke as he did, "for I am a man
under authority, having soldsiers under me; and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to
another, Come, and he comes; and to a servant, Do this, and he does it."
Being a soldier he understood the principle of authority. Being vested with the power to
rule his men as given by Rome, he only had to speak the word, and those men under him
knew that it was the voice of Roman authority. His soldiers and servants moved at his
command. He recognized this same principle of authority in the ministry of Jesus, but from
the Voice of Heaven's authority! There was no need for the Lord Jesus to make a trip to
the Centurion's house!

Y The Word Only
would accomplish the servant's healing. The Word might have been carried-out by an
Angel...but not neccessarily so...since He holds the entire universe by the power of His
Word! A word of authority addressed TO THE EVIL THING WHICH WAS
AFFLICTING HIS SERVANT WOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO EFFECT THE
SERVANT'S DELIVERANCE, "deliver us from evil..for Thine is the Power...because You
have the Power and the Glory." When Jesus heard it He marvelled, and said to them who
followed, "Verily, of a Truth, I say to you, I have not found SO GREAT FAITH, no, not in
Israel." The professing religionists of that day did not have this kind of FAITH. And not
many, I might add, in the Church, including me.

Thus every other instance of Faith records FAITH as acting on a lower level. This soldier,
without an Israelitish background, and an understanding of divine things such as was
available to the Jews, had grasped the truth of Jesus' rightful AUTHORITY ahead of those
who should have known. It has often been the case. Just as the writings of the scribes and
the traditions of the elders made void true faith in Jesus' day, so in our day a multiplicity of
religious rites, ceremonies, and humanistic teachings are DESTRUCTIVE OF FAITH IN
GOD'S 'PURE' WORD. Many saints today don't even have enough Faith to tithe...and
then many support ministries that are only building their own little or big kingdoms! What
is it that is in us?.....nothing but UNBELIEF.....AS IN THE DAYS OF THE
PROVOCATION!

Much to the surprise of some good church members, God is finding many 'centurions.' And
Jesus said unto the Centurion, "Go back, then; let this be done for you, as your faith
demands." And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Y From the very beginning of His public life and throughout His ministry, Jesus asks for
FAITH. He asks for this faith especially when He works His miracles....they are not only
acts of mercy but also signs bearing witness to the Kingdom of God...that the Right Hand
of God was active in His Kingdom, that is, He preached...'Your Messiah has come,' the
time has been fulfilled, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Therefore, He cannot work the
works of God unless He finds FAITH without which the miracles lose their true
significance ... since faith demands the sacrifice of the whole person, mind and spirit. Many
are double minded and half-hearted ... just like you and I. We are so slow to believe.

However, what makes it so difficult to believe ... is ministers and people who are always
changing His words to mean something other than what He so simply says. One cannot
place his foot on the rock without it moving out from under him. The mind is confused, it
cannot focus on the truth of the words of God. How can one's faith demand something it is
not sure of? But Jesus' teaching made a deep impression on people, Why? because He
taught them with 'authority' unlike their own Scribes. They taught and read the Scriptures
alright, charming the public by their show of piety while in their hearts they were doers of
evil. And when you are walking in your carnal nature, controlled by Satan...you cannot
teach with 'authority'...for there is nothing to back up what you say....that is, the witness of
the Holy Spirit. The force of Righteousness. What is the 'brass-tacks' of Jesus' ministry
and words? They are the first signs of the Spirit's triumph over Satan's

empire and over all the powers of evil, whether sin, desease, nature, death, buildings,
cities, towns, fish, food and on, and on, and on.......

Y CAN FAITH BE SEEN?
Can faith be seen? After the "origin of the deviled ham episode (the pigs and the
demons)," Jesus got back into the boat, crossed the water and came to His home town.
And suddenly some people brought Him a paralytic stretched out on a cot-like bed,
SEEING THEIR FAITH, Jesus said to the paralytic, "Take comfort, My child, your sins
are forgiven." Whose FAITH did He SEE? Not the paralytic! But someone's faith was
involved. I personally believe that in the early Church, before the Holy Spirit was
dismissed from His role of Leadership,
everyone who recieved the Message of Salvation was healed..physically and spiritually.

Here is the rest of the story. And now some of the scribes said to themselves, 'This man is
being blasphemous.' Knowing what was in their minds Jesus said, "Why do you have such
wicked thoughts in your hearts? Now which of these is easier; to say, Your sins are
forgiven, or to say, Get up and walk? But to PROVE to you that the Son of man has
AUTHORITY on earth to forgive sins,"....then He said TO to the paralytic, "Get up, pick
up your bed and go off home." A feeling of awe came over the crowd when they saw this,
and they praised God for having given such AUTHORITY to human beings. This power of
AUTHORITY was communicated to His disciples. The power to forgive sins is entrusted to
the Church.
See Mt 18:18.

Y Spiritual healing effects physical healing and vice-versa. We have lost our way saints!
Mostly because of unbelief .... denying the Holy Spirit His rightful place in our hearts and
Services. "And He could not do many miracles there because of their unbelief," remember
those words of Jesus? Dorcus, sometime after her conversion became sick and died...but
not because of sin, because the scriptures say, 'she was a good woman and did many good
works for the poor...making them garments." Peter was called, and with his AUTHORITY
he raised her up from death....her spirit left the presence of the Lord and re-entered her
body, and whats more, whatever caused the death...the body was also healed and restored!
It is not the healthy who need the doctor, but the sick. Mercy is what pleases Me.

Y When Jesus says, "I was sick and you visited Me," do you suppose that on that
visitation, He just might want us to be able to do more than, "we'll be praying for you?"
Saints, we need to change our thinking somewhat. We need balance and discernment of the
Spirit regarding God's words because His words are Spirit and they are life...if we obey
them...but death if we don't...a very real spiritual death.

The same principle applies when Jesus stated, "I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was
thirsty, and you gave me drink, I was a stranger, and you took me in; lacking clothes, and
you clothed me, in prison and you came to see me." Who is ME? "In truth I tell you, In so
far as you did this to one of the least of these 'My brothers,' you did it unto Me."
Mt 25:31-46. The Body is Me in the context.

We, saints, are members of His Body...flesh and blood Body... still here on planet earth,
just as He was here fulfilling His Father's business. Did you ever think that your husband
or your wife, if being a christian, that the manner in which you treat one another or the
things you say to one another

could possibly be, "You have done it to ME?" Ep 5:21-33.

Y The Body of Christ must be connected to the Head...It, the Body, is the fullness of Him
that fills everything, everywhere...all and all. All and all speaks of something of limitless
size. Ep 1:15-23. It forms the whole NEW CREATION that shares in the cosmic rebirth
under Christ as it's Head and Ruler.
1 Co 12:12 seq; Ep 3:19; 4:13; Co 1:15-20 seq.; 3:11; 1Co 12:6; 15:28. True reborn
believers have already begun this New Life...this New Creation. Much of the Body of
Christ is already in Heaven.

Saints we must "qualify" in order to inherit the Kingdom of God. It is not a MESSAGE of
"Easy Believism" as is being preached. Here are Pauls very own words to the Body.
"Among you there must be not even a mention of sexual vice, impurity or any
such thing."

Y WHO CAN INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
"No forms of greed: this would scarcely become the holy people of God! There must be no
foul or salacious talk or coarse jokes...all of this is wrong for you; there should rather be
thanksgiving. For you can be quite certain that nobody who indulges in sexual immorality
or impurity or greed...which is worshipping a false god...CAN INHERIT THE KINGDOM
OF GOD. DO NOT LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU WITH EMPTY ARGUMENTS
(words): It is such behaviour that draws down 'God's retribution' on those who rebel
against Him. You were darkness once, but now you are light in the Lord; behave as
children of light, for the effects of the light are seen in complete goodness and uprightness
and truth." Would you say that most of television is ruled by the "rulers of the darkness of
this world...in the heavenlies?" Foul and salacious talk and coarse jokes. I here christians
saying, 'get your butt over here, etc.' Christians never learned that slang from Jesus! "Try
to discover what the Lord wants of you, take NO PART in the futile works of darkness but,
on the contrary, show them up for what they are. The things which are done in secret are
shameful even to speak of; but anything shown up by the light will be illiminated and
anything illuminated is itself light. That is why it is said:
  "WAKE UP, SLEEPER,
     RISE FROM THE DEAD (now),
     AND CHRIST WILL SHINE                                           ON YOU."
Make the best of the PRESENT time, for it IS A WICKED AGE."

Y Our Lord Jesus says, "If you put your hand to the plough and look back...to Egypt, the
World of Darkness, you are not fit for the Kingdom of God." God calls darkness, the
empty-headed life, intellectually they are in the dark, estranged from the life of God; their
sense of right and wrong dulled, they have abandoned all self-control and they pursue to
excess every kind of uncleanness. What manner of life is this? This is the OLD SELF,
which belongs to your old way of BEHAVIOUR. if we take AUTHORITY over it...the
Spirit will put it to death. RISE FROM THE DEAD, SLEEPER, AND CHRIST WILL
SHINE ON YOU. Ep 4:17-20.

I disagree with most teachers today who say what they think regarding Job....that he had
no faith. I would like to see some of them put to the test like he was...and say, "though He
slay me, yet, will I trust Him." And again, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, naked
shall I return again. Yahweh, The Lord gave, Yahweh has taken back, BLESSED BE THE
NAME OF THE LORD.' ... If we take happiness from God's hand, must we not take
sorrow too?" And in all this

misfortune JOB UTTERED NOT ONE SINFUL WORD! O' how much he was suffering. I
am going to give a lesson on this sometime, if the Lord is willing. We need to reveal some
off-base teaching which has found itself into our hearts.

Unless you have ever been in a place where you are being crushed, humiliated by the world
and the saints, brused by wife or husband, even children, yes, your gold's refining in the
fire ... you will never understand Beautiful Job. It is at this time of refining that you lift up
your voice and say, "I love You Lord Jesus." O' yes, bringing forth the lovely fruit of
righteousness, ... and saying, "Be it unto me according to your word." Yes, we need to
humble ourselves under the mighty Hand of God...for Him to lift us up....to that place
beside His resurrection Seat of Power and Authority.

I wonder what ever happened to Matthew Chapters 5ive through 7even? After preaching
these words, Jesus said, "Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of Mine and acts
on them will be like a man who built his house on Rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gales
blew and hurled themselves against that house, AND IT DID NOT FALL!" Glory to God
in the Highest Heaven, far above all principalities and powers and every name that can be
named!
I thank You Father for everything you put me through. For all the pruning and good hard
spankings. It was so very hard, but, it brought endurance and the peaceable fruit of Your
image into my life. It is really true Jesus, my hours are long when I'm not with You. Don't
you just love HIM, Saints?

Lesson One
Part Five
Y THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT. HATH GOD SAID? WAR OVER THE WORD!
Y THE LORD'S CONTINUING MINISTRY... IN FAITH
Although our Lord returned bodily to Heaven, He nevertheless continued His ministry, and
enlarged His ministry, after His ascension, "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,
He was received up into Heaven, and sat on the 'right hand' of God. And they, the
disciples, went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming
the word...how?
with signs following...following what?...the WORD that they preached, that is, the Gospel
of the Kingdom." Mk 16:19-20.

There is nothing in the New Testament to indicate that this divine arrangement has been
set aside. To the contrary, where faith has claimed these promises, the same Lord stands
ready to work with His preached Word and "perform" it. Each Scripture produces it's on
kind of faith.
"There are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these we might
be partakers of the divine nature. 2 Pt 1:4.

Paul, giving an account of his stewardship to the Ephesian elders at Milctus, said, "I kept
back nothing that was profitable to you, but have showed you, and have taught you, I have
not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God." Acts 20:20-27.
Many are being robbed of their inheritance because the whole will of His will is not being
honestly lived and taught. The words of our Lord to the Emmaus travelers might well be
repeated to us today, "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have
spoken." Lk 24:25.

You see, God never intended for the Church, His Body, to live by any thing other THAN
IT'S OWN INHERITANT POWER! Did you hear that? Listen again to what Paul by the
Spirit said,
"I came to you not with inticing words of man's wisdom...but I came in the demonstration of
the POWER of the Holy Spirit...why? so that your Faith might rest in the POWER of God
and not in the wisdom of man." 1 Co 2:4-6

Y The world, human wisdom, are not able to understand God! The Lord is going to destroy
the wisdom of the wise and bring to NOTHING the understanding of the wise who think
they understand outside of the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom is He going to do
this? by those who by human standards are weak to shame the strong, by those who by
human standards are common and contemptible; indeed those who count for nothing, to
reduce to nothing all those that do count for something, so that no human being might feel
boastful before God. It is by HIM that we exist, in Christ Jesus, we are the fullness of Him
that fills everything everywhere.

The mighty Holy Spirit is our inheritant

power. We live and die by this Power, death is ours as well as life! Everything in our lives...
the Spirit uses the word of truth, His sword, to war with.They are the weapons for attack
and for defence.
2 Co 6:1-10; 10:1-11; 1Co 3:21-23; 1:17-31.

What a tragedy to go through life without those things which God designed for our good
and which Jesus Christ made available to us through His awful suffering at Calvary, and
which the Holy Spirit stands ready to minister to us on the BASIS of FAITH.

Y CIRCUMSTANCES
& THE SENSES &
Y CIRCUMSTANCES & FAITH
There are two types of Christians in the Body of Christ. Those who live entirely according
to the senses. The circumstances and conditions affect their entire way of living. Then
there are those who have learned to live by faith, and their lives are not affected by
circumstances and conditions. Regardless ... they are still victorious.
Satan is allowed to put us to the test like Job, but some saints curse God; they have no
endurance! Some don't seek Him in it all. Many don't know how to hear the voice of the
Spirit teaching us from within our spirit. Around and around and around the mountain we go
... never overcoming, in a spirit of unbelief. You cannot discern the testing! We keep doing
the same things over and over again. Never going beyond saved and baptized in water and
a few milk feedings. Maybe a dance, a jig once in awhile. Lots of 'pot-lucks,' but few
in-depth Bible feedings and prayer meetings.

Y This group of Seeds live according to the senses, their whole life is beset by
circumstances and conditions, which affect their way of living. What they see, smell, hear,
taste or touch influences
their thinking and the making of decisions. And I think that it should...but then enters
FAITH in God...to do something about it. I thank God for my senses! If I were blind...I
need FAITH or someone who has the FAITH to give me sight! Can we understand that? I
praise God I can smell, touch, hear and do all the things God created me to do, don't you?
Now, how by my FAITH in the Lord Jesus, may I help myself and others?

Y I must take what I receive by my senses...then I must hear the voice of the Holy Spirit
and let Him counsel me...telling me what to do in the situation. I then watch the words of
my mouth, control the thoughts of my mind. I do not even allow my mind, in my thought life
to express itself ... wrongly, that is. I am asking the Lord questions of those things I do not
understand ... then I listen for the answer. It may come immediately or it may come when I
least expect it. This is being led by the Spirit. He is directing my life. Every day I am
growing, reading, communicating with the Lord in my spirit. I am drinking, eating spiritual
things and am able to discern good and evil. I must hear what the Spirit is saying to me in
my inner ear. He will bear witness to my spirit ... even through someone else without that
someone even knowing it.

Y I was offered a place in California, worth $150.000.00. All I had to do was move out
there and take it over. The party would give it to me. Well, it was something I always
wanted, I suppose. However, I had to recall all that the Lord had instructed me in and how
He had directed my life. "He would go before me, and KEEP me in the way I should go. He
would preserve my going out and my coming in." Ps 121. That word to me was an out and
out miracle. And at that same time and day, another Scripture given to me said, "Christ
shall be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death." Those promises

were given to me by the very fingers of God...and given when I was so desperately
clinging to life... maybe like you are now.

I was in such darkness! He said that He would go before me from that very moment and
henceforth forevermore. And He did and is! So,I am now in Oklahoma, and I am being put
to the test. There is no unbelief in my heart as to where the Lord had brought me ... I had
no doubt about that at all. However, I could not be led and moved by my senses!

Y Therefore, I had to seek the Lord. I had to get the mind of the Spirit. I prayed, I asked,
and I waited. Did I have peace? Is this His will for me?... and finally that still small voice
said to me, "NO, I SENT you here!" And here I am. Is this where I will be until He comes,
I don't know. He has not told me. What am I saying? I am saying the Holy Spirit has been
given to the Body of Christ, to lead each one of us individually.

We do not recognise His voice when He is speaking, we have not learned how to discern
Him moving in and around us completely. We have not come to that place of 'knowing'
Him.You see, my senses and my carnal nature would tell me, 'is not this the Lord? Just
look, a $150,000.00 ministry given to you! What a blessing!' And maybe to someone that
would be just wonderful ... if that is where God had called him or her. However, is that
God's will for me, regardless of the circumstances?

I must seek the Face of Jesus, I must get the mind of the Spirit. This is how we must learn
to live and move and have our being ... even between husband and wife. Sapphira, if she
had not agreed with her husband, Ananias, to lie and PUT GOD TO THE TEST, would not
have been judged by the Holy Spirit and dropped dead as did her husband. I wonder if we
really understand what things we do and say that PUTS GOD TO THE TEST? The days
are fastly arriving, I believe, when we will again see some Ananias and Sapphira
syndromes. We are not going to be able to stand before an anointed Servant of God, truely
anointed, that is, and distort His Word and lie to deceive the Holy Spirit. It will not work
anymore ... we must do some house-cleaning.

Y I want us to notice who was the unseen spirit behind the deception, the invisible world
that we are warring against; Peter said, "Ananias, how can Satan have so possessed you
that you should lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the land? While you owned the
land, was it not yours to keep, and after you had sold it wasn't the money yours to do with
as you liked? You have been lying not to men, but to God." (This is invincible holiness, a
sin unto death), and then to Sapphira, Peter said a little while later, 'Why did you and your
husband agree to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test?' Instantly she dropped dead at his
feet just like her husband. Acts 5:1-11, and great fear came upon the whole Church and all
who heard it!" that is, unbelievers alike. This is how the Kingdoms feared the Israelites ...
they had heard about the God of Israel! Read also 1Co 10:1-seq.

Y I tell you, it ought to come upon us again and I believe it will. In this very story we see
the kingdom of Satan against the Kingdom of God! Satan moves us to sin
trying to get a foot-hold, contaminate us, knowing full well that God would have to deal with
it, and He does, why? in order to keep His Body clean. His sacred Temple. In our next
lesson we might study the stratagies of Satan and that of God. Because this is where the
battle rages!

YGod has a Plan and a Purpose,
and He has not Planned
any Defeats for me!
And Satan has a plan. Whoever heard of anyone being sent to the battlefield without
training, knowing the power of the enemy and his stratagies, and knowing the enemies
WEAPONS of power and warfare! Satan will war over you, "Hath God said?" Read
Ananais' story again ... for the first time. Satan says, "Hath God said, Thou shalt not tell
just a little white lie? O, this is not a lie or deception! Tell your wife she will agree with you,
Peter is only a man like you, he and the others will never know! Make yourself look good
before the rest of the people."

Can you see the spirit of GREED working? "Do it, who's watching, who's going to know?
You can get by with it!" Money the root of all evil. One thought leads to another and
another, see that leaven working in his mind and spirit and then transfering it to his wife?
This sort of thing keeps us out of the Kingdom and from doing the Ministry of Christ. Who
is God seeking? Those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, earthen vessels of honor,
who are fit for the Masters use. Golden vessels that have had
there Faith tried in the FIRE. Do you think Jesus walked through His life without being
tested? He was an OVERCOMER, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT HE SENT IS AN
OVERCOMING SPIRIT.

Y THE AFFECT OF LIVING
BY THE SENSES
God had promised the land of Caanan to Israel, it was theirs. Gen 12:7, "And the Lord
appeared unto Abram, and said, 'Unto you and your seed will I give this land...' "

Under Moses, when it was time to take the land that was theirs by inheritance they made
the mistake of sending spies into the land. Now ten of these twelve men lived and believed
only by what they could see, hear, taste, and touch, and this was the report which they
brought back. Nu 13:28.

"Nevertheless, the people are strong in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great;
and moreover we saw the children of Anak there." Nu 13:31-33, "We are not able to go up
against the people; for they are stronger than we ... and all the people that we saw in it are
men of a great stature. And there we saw giants, and we were in our sight as grasshoppers,
and so we were in their sight." How do you see yourself in the sight of demons and Satan's
supernatural power and ability? Whose Word do you believe?

Now because these spies lived in the realm of the senses and unbelief, they made the
wrong decisions. They disregarded God's Word, and they turned the 'whole nation' of
Israel away from what God had given them. Even to the place where they wanted to go
back to Egypt, and Israel as a nation went BACK INTO THE WILDERNESS FOR
FORTY YEARS OF WONDERING . . . .AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND
THE MOUNTIAN! That generation died there, except for Joshua and Caleb.

Y EXAMPLES OF FAITH AND CIRCUMSTANCES
These two men in that group of spies who believed in what God had given them, walked in
the Spirit, and disregarded what they saw, eventhough what they saw was true. Nu 13:30,
"And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess
it; for we are well able to overcome it."

Thank God for our five senses!!! And thank God for the sixth sense of the Spirit of Faith
He has also given us!!! By it we shall rule

over what we see. The Lord asked Jeremiah one time, 'what do you see?' Jeremiah said,
'I see a Watchful Tree.' ' Good,' said the Lord, 'I WATCH OVER MY WORD TO
PERFORM IT.' And had Israel, as a Nation, had at that time done as it was suggested by
Caleb, God would have performed the miracles for them that He afterwards performed for
Joshua!

Y The King of Syria had sent an army to take Elisha, because he was revealing the Kings
secret to the King of Israel. This same army was around the city in which Elisha dwelt. 2 Ki
6:8-17. Now Elisha's servant saw this army around the city, and made a decision by what
he saw. He saw an host both with horses and chariots. And he said, "Alas, my master! how
shall we do?" He was overcome by what he saw...and you and I would be too. This is when
we need to turn to God for some insight!

For through the discerning of spirits the Prophet Elisha saw other things that contradicted
what his servant saw, and Elisha said, "fear not: for they that be with us are more than
they that be with them." What I see, Elisha said, I want you to see, so he prayed, "Lord,
open his eyes, that he may see." And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he
saw: And behold, the mountian was full of spirit-horses and chariots of fire round Elisha.
O, how I could take off on this revelation. "Are they not all ministering Angels sent forth to
minister for the ones who are to be the heirs of salvation." The Lord Jesus said, "Could I
not ask My Father, and He would SEND Me twelve legion of Angels to defend Me? Now,
now then, spirit-horses? Spirit chariots of fire?   O YE OF LITTLE FAITH, WHY DO YOU
DOUBT!

Y THE PARABLE
OF THE TALENTS
We must, as children of the Kingdom, labor because of what Christ has done for us, and
because of our love for others. With the right motives come reward, position and "well
done good and faithful servant." Mt 25:14-30.

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man traveling into a far country, who calls his own
servants, and delivers unto them his goods or property. And unto one he gives five talents,
to another two, and to another one, TO EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS ABILITY
and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and
traded with the same, and made five other talents. And likewise he that had the two. But he
that had received the one went and dug in the earth, and hid his Lord's money. After a long
time the Lord of those servants came and reckoned with them. And so he that had received
the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, 'Lord you gave me five
talents: behold Lord, I have gained besides them five more.' His Lord said to him, 'Well
done good and faithful servant, you have been faithfil over a few things. I will make you
ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.' And he that had received the two
talents, the same thing took place as the one who had received the five talents."

"Then the one who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you, that you
are a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not
spread. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth, lo, there you have what
is yours.' His Lord answering said unto him, 'You wicked and slothful servant you knew
that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not spread, You should have
therefore put my money to the exchangers, and at my coming I should have

received mine own and with interest. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him
who has the ten talents. For unto everyone who has shall be given, and he shall have
abundance; but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has. And cast
the unprofitable servant into outer darkness; there shall weeping and gnashing of teeth.' "
It is to be noticed that this parable follows the parable of the ten virgins, which deals with
the Coming of the Lord, for His Bride as stated in Mt 25:13, "Watch therefore, for you
know neither the day, nor the hour in which the Son of Man cometh."

Y THE INTERPRETATION
IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE MAN TRAVELING TO A FAR COUNTRY IS THE LORD,
Who after His resurrection went to Heaven. But before He went, He called His servants
together: in the sense, that He has called us all to occupy till He comes to preach and
teach, His Messianic Kingdom, "and according to every one's ability." The word ABILITY
speaks of 'ministries,' as related in 1Pt 4:11, "If any one ministers let him do it as of the
ability which God gives."

These abilites relate to ministries as spoken of in Eph 4:11; Ro 12:8, etc. They are
supernatural gifts from God's Spirit. And as we have seen that the ministries of the
Kingdom are in the temple [body] of each believer. What is being accomplished in Zion
relates to the Kingdom of Glory [Light]. The Keys of the Kingdom, are the weapons of our
Warfare against the kingdom of darkness! These talents are "spiritual gifts." and the
terms, five, two, one are just terms of measurement, not actual. It is with our ministry and
the measure of our gifting that we, like those in the parable can trade, or work for the
Kingdom. Just Like Jesus did! And the lesson revealed.that if we are faithfully using our
talents for God,
what we are endowed with, then we will be rewarded. And these rewards relate to our

Y POSITION AND PLACE IN THE KINGDOM ETERNALLY
But if we hide our gift or gifts, regardless of the fact that we refuse to have anything to do
with what God has endowed us with we are still responsible! Then we should also
understand that the gifts or ministries are never taken away from us, Ro 11:29, "FOR
THE GIFTS, AND THE CALLING OF GOD ARE WITHOUT REPENTANCE."IF WE
USE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN ENDOWED WITH FROM THE KINGDOM, each one in
the Body of Christ according to his ability will be rewarded. If not, he will suffer a great
loss.

Y THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT
We MUST keep this kind of a spirit. "But which of you having a servant plowing or
feeding cattle, will not say unto him, when he is come from the field. Go and sit down to
eat. And will not rather say unto him; Make ready that with which I may sup, and gird
yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you shall eat and drink.
Does he thank that servant because he did the things commanded him? I think not!
"Even so you also, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you,
say; 'I am an unprofitable servant, I have done that which was my duty to do."
Lk 17:7-10.
